MRZXMILES version of the EI Roadster Dizzy-for sale on Ebay from time to time.

To improve the reliability of your Roadster install Nissan/Hitachi electronic ignition (EI) distributor. With this upgrade, there will never be a need to adjust or replace points again. Engine performance will improve because points problems will be non-existent. After setting the timing, it remains unchanged and will never need adjustment. It's a completely self-contained distributor with a simple 2 wire hook-up to the roadster ignition system. It’s a complete electronic distributor because it has its ignition module is inside the distributor housing, this makes for a very simple and clean installation just like the factory (and uses the original cap and rotor )unlike others that use a module on the side This EI distributor feeds a clean on off voltage to the ignition coil as compared to points, allowing much more current to flow from the coil ,and more power from the coil means stronger spark allows for a wider spark plug gap and less misfiring. With this distributor and 12 volt coil alone, you will be able to widen your spark plug gap to 0.039”-0.043”. EI distributor system provides much easier starting, smoother running, and general improved performance This distributor has been completely disassembled, cleaned, and inspected for wear or damage. The re-assembly is to match the desired 15 degrees of crank advance, which is identical to the pre-emissions roadster distributor and with quality checks to ensure conformance to required dimensions and tolerances. All electrical components are tested, It comes complete tachometer pinion, drive coupling, and vacuum advance , cap and rotor It also includes a wiring harness to connect the 12 volt coil ( supplied ) I will supply instructions on how to setup the distributor and offer guarantee one year and $30 for core return.
