Here are the specs for the probe
Temp Reading
- 130.....................105 ohms
- 190......................45 ohms
- 220......................32 ohms
- 240......................25 ohms
Room temp is around 385 ohms and for what its worth these probes NEVER go intermittent so if you are getting anything close to these readings then don't waste your money on a new one. (More likely a bad ground / unknown splice or bad connection at the sender.) The probes do go completely dead on occasion but they will show no reading at all which of course makes finding the problem much easier.
