Considered the high windshield cars by many. A lot of the changes were made to meet the department of transportation requirements of the time. Taller windshield, padded dash..........1600 engine went from a three main to a five main. ...................There tend to be a lot of confusion regarding the actual year. Many 68's were sold as 69's and some 69's were sold as 70 models. So, your car may be titled as a 69 but the VIN falls in the 1968 range. Not a big deal by any means but this did in fact happen. How ever knowing the correct model will assist in getting the correct parts for your roady.
