ARP engine bolts

Post by Plasmaboy »

After getting a call from my engine builder today saying that he had ruined one of the conrod bolts off of my U20 while doing the engine balance .. I need to find a replacement set  Does anyone know of ARP product codes for the crank bearing cap , conrod and head bolts for a U20 ?

thanks in advance

The only person I know that would know that information is Dean at Fairlady.

However, he bundles it with a complete bolt package.

ARP bolts

I think I'm going to go the ARP route when I pull my engine apart soon. I'll do some research. I'm told the ARP stuff is lighter and stronger than the stock bolts as well.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

According to the data I copied and pasted from another site,

Connecting rod cap - 7/16-20 UNF (65 ft lbs)

This is for R16 from engine 40001 and all U20s.
