10/24 - 3rd Annual All Datsun Beach BBQat (Dana Point)
3rd Annual All Datsun Beach BBQ -- Come join us for an All-Datsun Beach BBQ at Doheny State Beach. (Dana Point, CA) We’re going to be in the day use parking lot, just as you get into the park and we’ll set up the BBQ at the closest picnic area available. This is an informal gathering and as such we will not have reserved parking of any kind. (But the beach isn’t nearly as crowded this time of year.) We will be holding a "People's Choice" car show and a small raffle.
So bring your family, some picnic chairs and sun-screen and come hang out with us. The fun starts at 11am, the BBQ starts at noon and the fun ends at sundown. We'll have Hamburgers, Hot-Dogs, Chips and Drinks!
Cost: There is a $10 (fees increased July 1st due to state budgets) per vehicle fee collected by the state. The BBQ is free, but we ask that all participants bring a can of non-perishable food as we’re going to make a donation to the Orange County Food Bank on behalf of the clubs involved.
In order to gauge how many folks are coming please RSVP by October 20th with the number of people attending in your party to: sahill@qualcomm.com or leave me a message at (858) 578-8137

Aside from cars, BBQ is a very very very close 2nd to my all time favorite distractions.
Wish I can go.

I will be there (weather permitting) and I know that Tim Miner is planning to bring both (yes, both) of his 1967.5 2000s with him. I also hear that Victor Laury will be there, although he will probably bring his 240Z as this is an ll Datsun Show.
I hope the San Diego and OC crowd will come as Dana Point is pretty close by.
Hope to see everyone there!

Terry and Koji of Katysnest.com posted some good shots of the show/bbq on their site http://www.katysnest.com/garelly-j/j-20 ... /part1.htm
And the DimeQuartery post some good photos as well.
