Saving windshield rubber?

Post by JoeK »

Hey everybody,

Can somebody tell me if there is a way to remove the windshield and save the rubber? Or conversely, since I think the rubber is more expensive than glass, can I break the glass and save the rubber?

Thanks, Joe

I paid $25 at a auto glass shop to remove mine because they do this for a living.
Worth every penny as the seal was perfect when they finished the job.

It is worth every penny!!!

The windshield is not that easily replaceable. If it is you should get a spare one now. :)
