Ordering through Nismoparts.com

Post by Datsundude »

Hi all,
Question, Have anyone bought anything from Nismoparts.com like emblems, mouldings, seals and etc… as you entered Nissan parts number into the part number search box the system will tell you they have it In stock and will send it to me 6 to 10 days which I have no problem with it. so to confirm, I called up the sale representative at Nismoparts.com they told me they can not get anything for my roadster because roadster parts had discontinue years ago. I don’t know who to believe, the sale representative or their Website? So anyone out there has successfully purchase parts from Nismoparts.com?

Thanks :D

Sorry...but you'll be out of luck trying to find any hard to find parts...

There are several web sites (www.nissanparts.cc) which tie-back to a Nissan Dealerhip in the Washington area. They have loaded many of the old roadster parts numbers onto their web-site. Though it will say the part is available, most parts are not available.

I purchased a 1600 air filter from them 3 years ago...the price was good and the transaction went smooth.

Many of the parts that the dealers used to have, have been swallowed up by the various vendors on this site.

Call your vendors if you are looking for something in particular, or post to the site what you are looking for, people will point you in the right direction.

As Lou said, your best bet is to check the vendors at this site. Good luck. Sam

It also helps to say what year/model you want the parts for since many parts (like the emblems) are different between early (64-67.5) and late (68-70) roadsters.

I have bought emblems and few other not listed items. The rep might not be to bright. These guys resell from our vendors and from Nissan. I bought a the front sway bar and bushings from them. The bar come from Addco and the bushing came form Fairlady Products.

A PO installed late model emblems on my early 1600, which I plan to sell (the emblems!) when I get to redoing the body.

However, that won't happen for a year or so. Need to get the functional stuff working properly before worrying about the cosmetics.
