Why use 200sx rear disc? The Maxima's are direct swap.

Post by Minh »

Are the 82-83 200SX rear disc conversion be applied to the 98 200SX?

Becuase, this site said the coversion from 98" 200SX 9.2'' to Maxima SE 11" (278mm) rear rotors is a bolt on. Except for redrilling the rotor bolt holes.

Minh,

I think you are talking about two very different setups. They changed the brakes in 1985 so I am fairly certain the brakes for a 1998 are totally different. I am getting ready to start on my rear disc brake conversion. Ed Johnson sent me all of the parts. It looks to be a pretty easy swap all things considered. I plan to document it with a write-up and lots of pictures.
