AG,

That's so funny!!! I had my friend Tom that works in South City go look at the car yesterday around 10am!! Said it was great deal.. but alas I have no space and I couldn't talk my Brother into it. When did you do the deal??

Wow! Congratulations on that find. I have been looking for that deal for a while now. That car looks very clean in the photos.

Nice car!

Very cool Alvin! The kind of grief you've had with the other one you deserved a break. Well done!

So, what is the catch? Is there nothing under the hood? Even without a drivetrain, that is a great price for that car! Congrats! That is a once in a lifetime deal! TR

Yes Alvin, that car looks great, and such the deal. So assuming you get the swap done, which car you gonna take to Shasta?

Enjoy them both!

Classic story :)

Sorry I missed such a fun event...

Recently on the same ad board (craigslist)...I guy offerred up two parts porsche 924/944s for sale for $100.

Though he spaced the appointments out...something like a half dozen people showed up within 40 minutes. Sounded like a fight nearly broke out,,

He finally gave up, wouldn't sell the cars and decided to list the cars on ebay starting at only $50.

Alvin...enjoy the car!...and happy you survived the roadster tribal council

YAY! Alvin!

I don't care what is under the hood, that was a steal of a deal. Great story, way to be persistent. I love the fact that they sold it to the guy they thought would treat it the best!
Good going ALvin, a new saga begins! Fergus O, 69 2000 getting new alt this week
