Cars vs. Women vs. houses

Post by Guest »

My frustration is beyonds words. Between moving to a new house 40 miles away form here, to having gone through one of those "clash of the titans" fight with my significant other ON MY WAY TO SOLVANG!!!!!!!!!!!, my mission was aborted a few miles before Santa Barbara. I was able to see a few fellow Roadster friends driving, but that's as far as i went.

Nobody was as eagered as me and as focused on being there as I ws for the past......YEAR! I need to know that there will be another event soon or else I'll go nuts  Is there?

Now, I want to let the guys that were part of the dual MC discussion a while ago know, that I got the 260z one from Kragen, and I guess they DID change the threads when remanufacturing it, because the lines fit perfectly. I even tried the new bleeders in the old MC and viceversa, and they are exactly the same!

Again, I hope I get a chance to meet you guys soon!

Oh sh&t Jorge, I'm sorry you missed Solvang because of a domestic dispute...

If it makes you feel any better, it was really hot at the show and not many people showed up. All of the reports of the show being great are false...Well, if you can convince yourself of that, the pain might go away...

Remember, priorities should be the missus & children, house, then the car...If the car moves up the list, the missus will take the house, children and half of the car!

Funny about the MC threads, I visually inspected mine and they look fine, but I still plan to dismantle and inspect (someday!)...TR

TR:

Thank you for the laugh  ! I'll try my best to ignore the overwhelming majority, and pretend that it was that bad! As to the order of priorities, you are 100% right.......at least I still have house, car, and the last words: "yes honey, I will"!!!!!

Minh, when is Shasta?

Take care !

Ahah!!! Finally someone backs up my claims!!! Great to hear that the MC worked.

Sorry to hear about you and the Ms., especially that close to the show. The next big show coming up is the Mt. Shasta Show in July, there might be some other smaller Fun Runs locally though, if you get those SoCalROC guys off their butts!!!

Lou:

Yes, I back your claims regarding the MC with solid evidence  And I really would love to get this SoCal thing to rumble!!!!! If Shasta is in July, I am 100% sure that I will be an active, present, and driving participant..........if I get permission! just kidding!

Well I was not going to post pictures here . Anymore..
But after reading your dilemma. I feel bad that you didnt make it

Go here to see pictures of what you have missed and pretend
that you were there.

Thank you very much for the eye candy......I'm not sure if this was something good that made me feel like I was there,, or some pleasant torture that makes me hate myself even more for missing it! :( BTW, your Roadster is the only one in the same color as mine!!!!! SWEET!

I had no idea that there were SO MANY beautiful Roadsters out there!!!!

Thanks again Raul!

Jorge,

Ah what a blessing it is sometimes to be single...ex. gee Russell would you like to spend 1800 on a close ratio tranny...why yes Russell that's a great idea... Hey Russell how about spending 7k on a full race prepped engine...well Russell if that is what makes ya happy!

It's the single life for me until I can find a woman with a set of wrenches.

Roadster fun

Post by SLOroadster »

It sounds like I will have to put someting together here in San Luis. There will be a Datsun run on May 16th, should be fun. I don't know if I will make it due to a very unhealthy engine. Lots of 510s and Zs though.

Will
Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!
