r16: will make a differance in hp and if so how much?

Yes, it can increase power. How much depends on what all is done, how well it is jetted, and so forth. You can't beat the "cool" factor of twin Webers, Dellortos or Solex carbs under the hood though!!

Add a cam in the mix to get the real bang for your buck. :shock: American Racing Cams can grind one for you relatively cheaply.

does anyone know were to get the manifold for the r16?

what is the cost like for one of this manifold?
i know someone getting ride of these carbs and i'm exploring options(they are off a 72 celica).

$250 last I checked.

Pierce Manifold makes em. They are online I just don't remeber the website off the top of my head.

The last time that I checked with Pierce, they wanted about $300 for the manifold, linkage and soft mounts. Another company sells the same manifold though:
