I searched for this on the forum but couldn't find it.
I noticed that on page 20, the mm to inch measurements are transposed. This is different from page 3. I thought this might help someone out.
It shows .3 mm = .0079 in. for exhaust and .2mm = .0118 in. for intake.
I believe it should be .3mm = .0118 in. for exhaust and .2mm = .0079 in. for intake. This is on page 3.
I imagine this might have been an inconvenience for someone...

I noticed it in the Tech wiki section linked to the forum. I also have the hard copy.

Re: Valve clearance on page 20 of service handbook manual
Wow that’s a mistake from the 60’s, that’s right out of the factory service manual. I also checked a few other aftermarket manuals and that mistake went over to them as well. Oops, so much for checking before publishing. Good catch.

Re: Valve clearance on page 20 of service handbook manual
Our district Service Manager used to say you couldn't always trust the manual , because most of the workers hadn't own motor vehicles. Datsun wanted mostly former rural employees in the 60s ,-80s , many near the city's, their home value rose up so much they could borrow against it, invest it and start their own business ,that that family ran . thus weren't interested in a factory job. the workers from the country were provided a low cost apartment in a nissan building furnished , if they got fired the family lost everything they'd had
