I heard from a Tyler, Tx insider that the owner was on his way to the East Texas Crisis Center Auto & Cycle Show [where he was a shoe-in for original best-in-class (Foreign)], when he was intentionally run off the road and into a tree 🤔

In the 1980s, roadsters were looked down on (literally) as ‘ricers’ by pickemup truck drivers with wild west gun racks.

The owner obviously thought that slicks would cure his under steer issues.
P.S. looks like a good buy just for the parts alone.

Steered clear of the steer, but the state of the brakes sent him straight through the gate. Tires? Not great.
