Looking for the correct thread/pitch size to pull my U20 main bearing caps. Pat

If it is any help I remember that for my 1600 it was very common. It didn't start on my first try so I tried a number of others but it turned out to be one that is used in many places on the whole car.

Thanks for the suggestion. If anyone's interested, I am going to replicate Datsun tool# ST446 30000, as seen page 39 in the U20 manual. Center and rear bearing caps are tight. The jackshaft bolt threads right in. Pat

Cool. I used to use a slide hammer with a bolt duct taped to the fitting on the end to remove the main caps. Could not find it last time I went looking and I've never seen anything in the parts store that would work.
