68 dash with glove box in good condition.

Post by Bigtaku »

How much is a 68 Dashboard with glovebox and clock with a plastic cover on it worth. My neighbor wants mine and I have no idea how much to charge her. Sorry I don't have a photo of it because she took it home with her, but it is in quite good condition. I'll get a photo and post it

Complete dashboard with guages or dash only?
Can always check Ebay.
Without guages and with glove box, I’d guess 200. No shipping

If it has no cracks or any big blemishes etc., then whatever you charge that is less than a "Just Dashes" refurb fee would probably be a deal.

Sounds like you have a dash cap on it and only instrument is the clock. If that’s correct then I would think $50 or a hundred over what the price of a new cap is. Unless she is completely missing her dash or it’s in such bad shape that a cap won’t work, she have much less work just buying a new cap and putting it on her own dash.
But then, what do I know. The values on these cars are a moving target lately!

Oh, if the clock actually works then you could add an extra hundred :D

The cap is around $140 and the dash and clock are worth at least $100 so It's going for $250. I did just sell her my OEM seats that were in wonderful condition with new leather covers for a really really good deal so I feel good with this price. Sorry Charles, Sid told me you are going to be angry with me now.
