non-smog U20 pulley

Post by unklpat »

Allright, I've secured a brand new 4 blade fan, after purchasing an "extra" from someone that didn't know the difference. I've purchased a non-smog pulley for a 1600 from someone that didn't know the difference. I have the correct spacer. Anyone want to part with a U20 non-smog pulley? Please tell me that it exists. Thx Pat

JT makes a very nice copy of the pulley! Otherwise, I think most everyone is hoarding what they have.

I have the spacer, I wonder what just the pulley might be? Pat

Dunno, surely there’s a link to email him. Otherwise, best of luck! If memory serves, an original pulley was listed here many years ago and was rather expensive (close to $500)... so, they are out there.

FYI, I compared this repro pulley to one of my originals and they’re virtually identical (with the exception of weight). I opted to save the original and run the repro in 42 (that’s how close they are).

Thanks JT, I now have a billet spacer available. The pulley is beautiful, now I should go buy the "rivet C" cover for $550 on Ebay. Pat

He makes a nice pulley, doesn’t he!?

What sn is your car? Depending on production number, the correct cover may just be the typical (cheap) cover.

Not sure what the cover will go for on eBay. Seems like most of these have finished closer to $1,000.
