Ideal Project Car '66 Roadster

Post by dynaguy » Sun Dec 01, 2019 9:06 am

This car is for someone truly interested in restoring a Roadster without stepping into a project that turns into a nightmare of missing parts, rust and expensive unforeseen issues.

Extremely original car.

Rebuildable, numbers matching R16

Correct 4spd. transmission

Minor rust

Minor body work needed

Unmolested, very complete, needing none of the expensive hard-to-find parts.

Clear Washington state title in my name. WILL NOT PART OUT!!!!!

Located in eastern Washington state. Stored in climate controlled shop. I'm wiling to store until upcoming spring/summer with substantial earnest money down.

Low-Ballers, don't waste our time.

pm for my phone# and email address for pics and additional info.

$3950

Yep, It's the barn find car. After reflecting on my priorities and commitments for the next 3-5 years, I decided the '66 was way down the list. It has great bones and for a knowledgeable Roadster restorer will not become a money pit of unforeseen body and part sourcing costs. If I don't get what I feel is a reasonable offer, I'll push it away in a corner of my shop and pick away at it as time allows.

This is a GREAT starting point for what can be a special car.

I can vouch for this roadster. I have looked at it very close. Excellent original paint (as I recall) survivor.
Perfect candidate for a "survivor revival" or restoration.
