Hayashi Racing Centerlock Wheels and Toyo Proxies R888 tires

Post by SP3 » Wed Jun 12, 2019 9:46 pm

Hayashi Racing produced these wheels with similar visual queues and functionality to those used in motorsport around the world during the 80’s including but not limited to Can-Am, Formula 2 and Formula 1.

Long out of production, this wheel was only offered in limited numbers.

The Super Street Center Lock System is comprised of an adaptor that bolts onto you hub similar to a spacer and allows you to run these Hayashi Racing Centerlock rims.

Once the steel adpator is bolted on, slide the rim on the threaded hub adaptor, then screw on the single alloy nut tightening using the centerlock tool (massive socket) with its breaker bar or use a massive torque wrench and away you go! Simple.

On offer:

Complete set of refinished Hayashi Racing Center Lock wheels, hub adaptors, center caps, and locking wrench. Mounted on Toyo Proxies R888 with 66% treadlife. Ran 3 years with no issues. Anti-seize always used on center cap threads and adaptor hub.

Everything is included that is needed to run these wheels.

Wheel is very rare and no longer in production. Styling is very similar to the Porsche 908 race car and rare Ferrari 365P Berlinetta and Testarossa.

Wheel is refinished in silver/gray which is one of the two colors available. The other was gold.

Wheel/tires are properly boxed up, so shipping cost will be actual price to your desired location.
