headlight rubber gasket

Post by Gornal » Sun Apr 14, 2019 5:53 pm

Hi,

Just looking for advice on placing headlight rubber gaskets in behind the headlights. I can't find in any manual where they are but it looks like there should be a seal or gasket around the light? Any advice on where to get them if they are needed?

Do you mean around the lamp itself?
No. Too hot.

Yes a rubber gasket between fender and headlight bucket exists. 7 in round. I think RTV would do the trick as well as a work around.

Ross has the rubber gaskets for mounting the headlight bucket to the fender.

thanks, I have the one for the fender but once the entire globe is installed it looks as though there is a gap around the glass which should have a gasket. But thanks for the advice, it seems as though it doesn't and would be too hot.

thank you
