I believe I was closely beat out by someone who emailed an offer to him. The lesson I've learned (for the Nth time) is it is better to ask my wife for forgiveness rather than permission when it comes to buying toys.

I will break the shroud of mystery and let everyone know that I am the one who purchased the car. I am heading out to pick it up in a couple of weeks. I will diligently report once it is in my garage. The plan is to do what needs to be done to make this a running/driving car again so I can enjoy it with my better half. I have a longer term project but have been wanting something a bit more turn key. This appears to be the ticket. Again I'll certainly let everyone know what happens.

I hope this goes to someone who appreciates the deal and doesn't try to just flip it.

Sharp eyes there, Rick, but why are you snooping in his garage?

What's in a garage speaks volumes. The less wall showing the better :D

Yes ok, I admit that I look in garages as I drive by... that was how I found my friend Bill when I live in So Cal... noted his Roadster in the garage, walked to the front door and made a friend.
