Last weekend, took the blue '69 out for a local Memorial Cruise for a longtime local Datsun/Nissan service tech we knew from the Z Car Club. He was tragically killed working on his son's car and the jackstands slipped. All of us club members are still in shock, he was well loved.
Met up with one of our locals with his KA swapped '69. I want his tonneau cover... anybody know who has a headreset seat zippered cover for sale?
Didn't get a lot of pics... too busy yakking with people I hadn't seen for years. Perfect day for the drive however.
RIP Jim, you will be missed.

Rob, very sorry to hear of the sudden loss of a friend... what an absolute tragedy and a good reminder to myself to always be safe under the car. My best to those hurting.
Alvin, the Bilsteins... just night and day eh? Car looked and sounded great, and your drive company looked to be having fun too. The Mountains are calling but our favorite pass is the last to open... soon!
Terrible loss. This why after I put the car on the jack stands I shove the car forward, back and side to side. Car on jack stands scares the crap out of me. Mine will be on the stands again in a few days to put the engine back in.
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.
Roadster Drive Today. Tuesday 5-31-22. Prowler. 153 miles.
First nice driving day in the PNW for more than a month!.
About 70 and sunny. Nice quiet roads after Memorial Day.
Did the Cascade Foothills, Mt Si - Enumclaw loop with a stop at Snoqualmie Falls.
No such great pictures for me this weekend, but I did take her out to a local charity fund raiser car show. Weather really cooperated for a change and it was a big success for the charity.
On a separate note, only when it’s parked next to a Honda Civic, does one realize the full scope of the improbability that I can actually get my 6’3â€, 210 lbs frame to fit inside it - What a car.
