Not what I used, mine cost a third of that. But that is an easy bolt on with stock wiring. Thread is getting hijacked.
66 stroker, almost done.

I'm SO happy I can finally post something here. Aired up 2 tires, turned on the battery switch, and it fired up in only a few seconds. Only drove it 5 miles home with the top up, but it was good to be in it. It's pouring rain now, so a nice rinse off and it will get some miles tomorrow.the cars been sitting since November. Between the battery switch, Stabil, electric fuel pump and electronic ignition, the one thing I can depend on is it fires right up after sitting 5 months!

the weather in NY has been very wet this spring. Needless to say, when the sun did shine (for a houtr or two) I drove my 70 SRL for the second time this season - just down to the lakeshore and back with my dog Colleen riding shotgun.

We lost 1st and 2nd gears along the way ...suspect broken pin in the shift fork ...looks like that engine is comming out again...

A friend of mine just bought a Boxster and she wanted to drive on some twisty roads so we DROVE up Hwy9(Big Basin Way) to a vista point. It got foggy and cold but it was fun!

Great video for a handheld I-phone! Sounds like the Z driver had more fun than the passenger :-)
Looks like the z had trouble keeping up with the Roadster ;-)

I DROVE around the block a few times after putting a new brake line and piston on my driver's side front brake. Hadn't driven it for a while, so it was fun. That brake still isn't working properly, though, so I guess I'll have to pull it apart again.

Took the old 1500 for a spin through George Bush Park, in West Houston. The weather was stunning, mid 70's with a cool breeze. My Daughter, and her faithful guard dog rode shotgun.

We went to Vince's for the Brewery show in Pleasantville, NY, about 125 miles round trip. I had the car stuffed to extremes with parts for people, table chairs and because of the roads, carried a spare tire, so that took more room. Couldn't put the top down. On the way up, Pat and Dave Freed caught up to us, exactly as planned and we drove the rest of the way together. On the way back Linda, channeling Marty, insisted "No, this is the exit", so I made a fast turn off the highway and we took the Palisades Parkway instead of the Garden State Parkway, which added a few miles, but is a nice ride. Caught some rain, but for a change I had new wipers, so no big thing.
Looks like 5 days of rain coming, so under the cover for a while.

Gary posted a few on the Brewery thread, I didn't take any. So lets see, there was a roll up table, 2 umbrella chairs, 3 steel wheels, a 280z compact spare, late radio console, 3 other radios, the complete Weber setup, with manifold, tool bag, small box of emergency parts, cleaning supplies, bottle of Old Harper, scissor jack, lugwrench picnic bag/wine carrier, lunch for 2, a small backpack Ipad and my Wife, who helped by bringing a small pocketbook.
It was horrible, unlimited free beer and since I'm getting over a bad cold/flu/allergy attack and taking allergy medicine, I barely had 3 little cups.

Likewise I did the brewery run this weekend about 130 miles and car ran like a top. Drove up with the top down and drove back down with the top up:). I didn't have as much stuff as Dave but I also had 2 chair and a table, a few bottle of wine, a lot of tools and spare parts and my wife had a BIG pocketbook.........no spare tire. Made it home before the rain!
