“The Stingrey” a 1966 Datsun 1600 Roadster
SP311-04148
Clean Oregon title in my name

It is finally time to list Project Sting-Grey up for sale-- this 1966 Datsun 1600 roadster has the ultimate bright-work and style , and is probably one of my favorite roadsters that we have built, it drives great down the road, has excellent power, and has striking looks! An extensive build thread on this project can be found here: viewtopic.php?t=35320

What a masterpiece of automotive history!
The restoration is so far above the OEM creation it's unreal.

Stunning car....just out of my budget. (although I know it costs this much in time, parts, frustration, and busted knuckles to build a car this nice).

GLWS and thanks for sharing the restoration with the forum.

Love the build. I hope you get the justified asking price.
One little thing…what are y’all doing for license plate lights? I don’t see alight on the bumper or around the plate. Where I live they will pull you over in a heartbeat for that.

Cheers

That has all been sorted-- the new buyer will have these provided:

Image

These are stainless steel license plate bolts that have LED lights built into them. If the car stays in state, I'll wire them up before they go, but if it goes out of state, I'll keep the plates and provide the new owner with the bolts-- it will then be a simple connection on the already completed harness once the new plates are issued.
