Can any one direct me to a vendor that can make a replacement ID Plate that's located under the hood? I lost mine during my restoration.
Thanks Bob

Re: Identification plate ID
I would mask off mine and not remove it its pretty important
Note in MO in the 70s if you removed the Vin plate ( YOU-must be a dealership )
Like to put it on a new dash , there was paperwork for the serv.mang to sign off on the tech sign it and was sent to the state vehicle inspector- to sign off on then sent to state license office , and pics taken along the way .
Any other way wasn't good

Re: Identification plate ID
It’s only on the dash on the 69-70. All other years are under the hood, held on by small screws.redroadster wrote: ↑Wed Oct 05, 2022 12:58 pm I would mask off mine and not remove it its pretty important

On the dash, frame, and under the hood on my 69 2000.

Old enough to know better, too old to remember why!
1969 2000 solex mine since 1972, under resurrection. (Finally resurrected as of spring 2019!) 1969 Porsche 911s -worth more, but not as valuable!
