Tonneau source was recommended by Linda, based on her experience with RockAuto. Tonneau producer is likely one of the usual suspects.

Yes, the parts (brakes stuff) seemed to go up in price - well as the gasoline... but so worth it.

Does your tach bounce between 500 to 800ish rpm while the engine is idling? I guess I just don't remember the motor running that rough.

regards,
ken

Is it the engine or the tach itself? It may need some lube. My speedo has been bouncing for quite awhile until it finally broke, taking out the speedo cable as well. It's locked up, now being repaired at Tacoma Speedometer.

I think it might be the engine. ...maybe it just needs more miles on the road to wake-up.

Once you have run some good fuel through it, pull the plugs and see how they look... may tell you a lot.

Nothing much put the new horn insert in. Got very lucky to find someone on the east coast who had swapped out for a padded 67 one and had this in their garage.

I haven't done it to my roadster yet but I figured out to make the early car rear lights work like the 69. Both lights on one side turn and the other side brake. Takes two relays and two flasher cans and two 3 wire lights per side. This is what happens when you start thinking about wiring while on the stair machine.

You know what they say Curtis, a journey of zero miles starts with a thousand steps … 🤔
So … just do it 🙂

Well I spoke a little too soon. Because of back feed through the relay you have to use 4 relays. If you really want to have this then it takes a bit of work to make up the wiring and plug adapters. All this to duplicate the 69-70 turn switch. Now you know why when they go screwy so do your lights with all the contacts in the switch.

Got this all figured out. Takes two relays and one flasher can per side. Works great. Takes one more can if you want hazard flashers too.

Probably try it on my car that's in the body shop.
