That's a good point, and I've read that they can fail after a relatively short period. Even Dean says his updated ones last longer than his earlier productions, but the one I bought from him In December of '98 looks and feels like the day I received it, .....after I've wiped all of the oil and grime off of it. I know it sounds like BS, but I guess I'm just lucky.
