For $300, should be some useable parts.
Not sure if any members are nearby. I'd snag this one if it was closer.
Looking for an Roadster near Pittsburgh, PA!

Too bad it's so far away. I could use some parts off of it.

Wow I'm not typically one for the patina (rust) look - but that one looks so cool! That seems like a great "barn" find.

SteelCity311, if you are ever in Oklahoma STAY AWAY FROM CATOOSA. There is a little old lady there that would like to have a stern talk with you

I have ,for years, resisted the temptation to succumb to letting another roadster follow me home. I guess it just futile to think you won’t be infected!

Of course the car came with no keys (or title) and the trunk was locked. I used the bent wire trick to get it open, but had difficulty maneuvering the wire inside the trunk. I soon found out why!

Notice anything interesting in there?

I haven’t had time to fully excavate the entire trunk, but just scratching the surface yielded the head, one carb, intake manifold, radiator scoop, and I think I see the radiator shroud.
Hopefully tomorrow I can dig a little deeper and find the bottom of the trunk, if it’s still there :D

Make sure you are up to date on your tetanus shot :smt003

A tale of two Roadsters. From the second photo the underside of the trunk lid looks nice, then you gaze down and WTH?

You should be ashamed of yourself, running some poor critter out of their home! That is one serious load of crap in there!

Blow out, I wish. It was packed so tightly that the only way it was going to blow out was with a stick of dynamite!
After donning gloves and a mask I dug in.
The yield
1 U20 cylinder head
2 SU carbs
1 SU intake
1 radiator with shroud and crossbars
2 pcs side trim
1 wheel and tire
1 Datsun jack
1 spare tire hold down
1 Datsun lug wrench
1 lug wrench unknown
1 generator unknown
1 factory air cleaner unknown
2 funky bullet mirrors
And a few other tidbits
Oh, and enough acorns to feed a community of squirrels for the winter
And BEST OF ALL...NO SNAKES!!

Next I’ll tackle the interior.
