oil filter

Post by drivercar3 » Wed Jul 03, 2019 9:49 am

After completing my K24 swap in my 67 roadster, it is time to change the oil.
Even though i put a smaller filter in , I can't get it out! I don,t want to dismantle the motor every time I need to change the oil.
Has anyone confronted this problem and solved it?
I appreciate any input.

Sometimes the answer is to take one motor-mount loose and jack under the oil pan. you can get approx. two inches this way.

Install a remote oil filter mount. Problem solved.

Get a filter for a Renault R-5 LeCar.

The threads and seal fit and it is short enough to clear the frame in most conversions
