Turn the key and nothing

Turn the key nothing. I jumped the starter, so that works. I have spark at the ignition. Where do i turn to next?

Check Fuses, check that both wires are on the ammeter - or bypassed if fried. Check wires to the back of the switch.

My bet is the switch or wire to the solenoid. Unplug the wiring at the switch and jumper from the hot to the starter wire. If it works, its the switch, if not, its the wire.

Agree with Phil and also, check the crimps on the terminal that mount the wire to the starter solenoid, sometimes there are multiple wires in a crimp on terminal and they get loose with time

Try the old, tapping on the solenoid while holding it to crank
....out of gear

check the starter harness white connector plug up by the master cylinder.

Found it The ground wire from the battery had work loose from the frame. It looked tight, but was a quarter turn loose. Thanks for all the suggestions. It had me stumped for a few days.

Ya gotta love simple solutions, though they can be frustrating, at least they are not expensive!
