Score another big win for EvapORust, I love that stuff and can't believe how well it works. I am not connected with them in anyway, and never write product reviews, but this stuff is the real deal! Before and after, and I did nothing other than soak them and occasionally use a soft brush to clean and then put back in the solution. My Roadster will be getting some new bling to replace what is on the car now! These parts came out pristine, very happy!

WOW!
Great job – and I'm putting that stuff on my shopping list.

Will lay the top over it for a while to let it settle before installing the top. Not many more driving days ahead as the weather in the Northwest has turned. Pat
I looked for some double sided velcro like in the photo but ended up with a hook an loop velcro. it will work but I like your set up better.

So are those Volvo ABS calipers part of your disc upgrade?
They are difficult to find in the ABS version.

Finished the retrosound install finally. Added an extra fuel filter. Think my fix for the busted gas cap door is gonna work...

Nice, looks so much better then a modern head unit.

Old enough to know better, too old to remember why!

1969 2000 solex mine since 1972, under resurrection. (Finally resurrected as of spring 2019!) 1969 Porsche 911s -worth more, but not as valuable!

What head unit did you go with, Long Beach, Hermosa? I have no idea what the quality of the internals are of the Retro sound units versus what places like Vintage Car Radio and their Aurora conversion are, but the $ savings is substantial. (Close to $200 after adding Bluetooth and USB options for Vintage Car Aurora Conversion)

I went with the basic one since I can aux from my phone. Bluetooth isn't worth the extra hundred to me. I mainly wanted to fill the dash and cover some ugly holes a po bored out.

Wish I had black knobs but they want $40 for knobs... feels insane.

That would be the Laguna model I believe?. I did notice knobs were extra. For what model car did you specify? I'm only seeing a 510 as showing available in 1967?? (1968 as well)

I did an early VW bug, I went by the faceplate width I needed (164mm).

It came with chrome knobs but didn't have the option to do black.

Put some braided hose in correct 1/4" tonight fixed a fuel leak I had from 5/16. Installed the Primo early brace. My old fiberboard didn't survive.. may just replace with dynomat or similar.

Today was mostly brakes day.

Bled everything. EBC pads and added the finned drums I restored. Adjusted the rears. Adjusted the stainless hoses not to hit my A arms. Still chasing a perfect pedal feel, I have the occasionally squishy pedal with an inch or two of squish before firming up, especially on a 'first press'. It will happily lock the wheels up and stop great though.

I wonder if there may be a bad internal seal in the master since it's a NOS from god knows when but sounds unlikely.

repainted radio knobs black to go with the other switches and knobs. like it alot more. retrosound wants $40 for knobs which is outrageous lol.

Did another round of bleeding and adjusted the drums a bit tighter and happier with the pedal feel now.
