Fred Schroeder's 1970 2 liter. Purchased 03/1973. U20, SUs, with a 5 speed gear box. Exterior color primer/silver with a black interior. Has roll bar and soft top installed. Car is a restoration project right now. Fred hails from Dennison, TX and is a member of TDROC. Fred's comments "Just put back on the road after being left to rot for 12 years. It is mechanically solid with a new interior. Exterior needs paint and a little rust repair. Mileage is just over 73,000 and the numbers match. I am the second owner having purchased it in 1973. It is stock other than the roll bar and having the battery in the trunk. Freshly overhauled hydraulics and carbs, a new set of Pirelli P7000's and it's ready to run.
