Thomas Thompson's 1970 1600. Purchased 03/1977. R16 engine #111400, twin SUs with a 4 speed gear box. Exterior color black with a red interior. No roll bar or tops. Car was parted out-nicknamed "Rusty II". Thomas hails from Roseburg, Oregon and is a member of NOWROC. Thomas's comments "Purchased for $700 in Kansas City, KS with 45K miles, and severe rust. Drove (ran great) to barn in Coeur d'Alene,ID in May, 1978. Parted out in 90's. Ehgine sold to Stan Chernoff in 1995. Most of interior/dash in my '70 2000. Still have many parts."
