Tom Henderick's 1968 2 liter. Purchased 04/1968. U20 engine, SUs, with a 5 speed gear box. Exterior color yellow with a black interior. Car had a roll bar and both tops. Car has been parted out. Tom hails from Portland, OR and is a member of NOWROC. Tom's comments "I purchased my first Datsun 2000 new in April of 1968. This car has left me with a love affair for these little buggers and many memories that seem to pop up when I am working the web page, which sprinkles the page with some of my past experiences with this little car. Unfortunately its life was only about 16 months. In about August of 1969 a big Chevy turned left into my little yellow car and demolished it. Fortunately for me I had put the lap and shoulder belts on that day and I was not seriously injured when the car hit a high curb at nearly 50 MPH." Tom also has a web site.
