Dirk Frisbee's 1968 1600. Purchased in 1999. R16 engine #65292, SUs, with a 4 speed gear box. Exterior color originally red but painted silver with a black interior. No roll bar installed. Had soft top. Car was parted out. Dirk hails from Rolla, MO and is not affiliated with any clubs. Dirk's comments "When I pulled the badly rusted body off the frame the frame fell apart, 3 pieces but tons of good parts lurked on the car." Car was nick named "Sukiyaki".
