Previsou Owner:Rodney Schwalbach's 1966 1600. R16 engine, SUs, with a 4 speed gear box. Exterior color red with a black/grey interior. Car has no roll bar. Soft top available. Rodney hails from Cedar Park, TX and is a member of TDROC. This car is a restoration project. Nick named "1600". Rodney's comments " I bought this car in 1984. Around '93, I gutted the interior, and took the car down to metal, repairing all the minor body imperfections and adding the red paint and black & grey interior. This car was a daily driver until the wiring harness shorted out and caught fire under the dash. A make-shift fix was done to get it started but it needs a little TLC to complete the wiring. Since it has been sitting for a while, the brake and clutch fluid systems need to be flushed out. Other than that, it needs a new top to be truely road-worthy. I'll have it complete by this summer...."
