Gary Meekins's 1966 1600. Purchased 01/2008. R16 engine, SUs, with a 4 speed gear box. Exterior color Japan Electric Red with a black interior. Car has no roll bar. Both soft and hard top available. Gary hails from Gilbert, Arizona. Car is in show rooom condition. Gary's comments "I bought this car from the daughter of the original owner. He gave it to her running 10 years ago and she stored it since then. 85K miles . Started and drove great after installing fresh fuel and a new battery. Very solid and complete. I did a refresh on it as soon as I got it to my shop. Originally white, but in primer when I bought it. I repainted it Japan Electric Red."
