311 Skid Mark Run Fort Ross/Gualala Run--June, 14th, 2003

The skids did a run up the coast to Gualala with a stop at Fort Ross. We had four roadsters and a 300ZX show up for the run. We definitley have a hardcore little group that always seems to make it. For that-I appreciate it. We met a new roadster owner Dan and his son Daniel. Sorry, I cannot remember their last names. Nice people at any rate. We met up at the Park and Ride in Rohnert Park around 9:30 AM. We waited until 9:45 but no one else showed so we headed out. We took the backroads to the coast highway one just north of Bodega Bay and headed north towards Gualala with a stop at Fort Ross(an old Russian Fort established in the early 1800's). We ate lunch in Gualala at a greasy spoon of a place and then headed back by way of the road that passes by Lake Sonoma. From there we picked up 101 and headed our seperate ways. The weather was fantastic and the roads were challenging. Here are a few pictures of the run. Enjoy- we did!
