Stock rims early vs. late?

Does anyone out there know if there is a difference in width on the early model rims compared to 67 1/2 year and newer? I am looking to go stock on my 66 and have a set of rims from a 69.

It is for a 1600 and am thinking 175/70/14 for tires. I contemplated 185/70/14 but am worried about the rub factor.

Thank you in advance for all the help and advice.

When the 1600 was introduced, it came with 4" wide wheels. When the 2000 was introduced, the wheels were widened to 4.5". The 1600 got the same wheels for sure in 68, most probably some time during the 67.5 model as well. The 4.5" wheels are marked (about a third the way around the wheel rim) while the 4" wheels were not. (at least not that I have found)
