well I have an oppurtunity to pick up an fj20 for a really good price
however I've tried looking to see if I can get parts for it (water pump, timing belt, gaskets ect) and had no luck
does anyone know of anyplace in the US to get parts for this thing?

I hate to send people on goose chases, but here it goes.
There is a guy on EBAY that is selling an FJ20 right now and claims to worked and have had quite a few of them. You can hit him up for info and maybe he will respond. It's worth a shot anyways.

Maybe someone can dime in on better leads. Good luck

Find some of the Aussie's on the board or the roadster list - they can get parts in Oz.

Hi,
These may be useful to get parts in the USA from down-under...

These guys do a lot of motor imports but may be able to help with parts.

I posted this link on another thread. These guys may be able to help too.

All in all I would say that the SR20 is now taking over down under for people looking to repower their rides, but the FJ20 is still around and I have never heard of people with these engines having issues with parts...
Hope this helps?

Since getting my little car I've become rather interested in datsun parts of all kinds and now have first hand experience not finding what I need and how much of a pain that can be. So, happy to look stuff up for you down here if you need.
