Hey all Midwest Roadster owners! I don't know how many of you are out there that I don't already know about so I thought I would post an announcement here.

We had two Mississippi River Runs in the Midwest last year and they were loads of fun.

We are in the process of setting dates for the first run of 2009 and are shooting for mid June or mid July. So keep an eye out for more info.

PLEASE--if you want to get emails directly from me about Midwest Roadster happenings as we set stuff up, please send me a note to tputland@charter.net and I will add your email to my Midwest Owners list.

These get togethers are nothing more than a chance to meet new people and drive the twisty roads near the Mississippi River in southern WI and Northern IL. We don't do anything formal so please, let me hear from you!!!!

I'm interested. Keep me posted on dates. I just got my 68 Roadster today & I'm very anxious to do some fun drives this summer.

The other day I saw a post from you on the Roadster email list Dave. From there I added your email address to my Midwest Roadster email list. Expect more details on the June run soon. For now, mark your calendar for the weekend of June 26-29 (four days!).

Connie and I have decided on the following:

Friday night at the L&M in Savanna, IL. They will have a new grill on site by the time we get there. Since we have had bad luck with dinner in this area, let's have a BBQ. More details later on.

Saturday night at the Kingsley Inn in Fort Madison, IA (you can book your room

Our destination for Saturday night is about half way between our Friday night destination and St. Louis. I am hoping that some of you located south of Illinois can join us for at least Saturday night.

Connie and I are booked for all three nights. Don't wait, book now, rooms are going quickly!
