I think I know the answer: "No." but thought some might enjoy the laughs. Looks like it came from Monster Garage, Season 2.

I think I've seen a Datsun roadster race car with a duck tail on the trunk lid. It was a cool car, no windshield and a hard cover over the passenger and rear cargo shelf. Just an open space for the driver and cage. Pretty slick.
Your cobra looks like a factory five racing kit that some one put a big wing on.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

Is this the car you were talking about Will? I have a bunch of other shots of it, and yes, it is pretty impressive!

It could have been that one, I think there is another as well. The one you have the pic of is pretty cool, I'd like to see more if you don't mind.

Sadly I only have shots of it with some transportation wheels, the Watanabe race wheels are stacked behind the car in some of the shots-- still this is a pretty unique and interesting roadster race car in Japan:
this screams Bonneville Salt Flats to me, although I wish the rear wing was a bit more "period" looking.
Cannot imagine how much I would like to be able to sit on the front tire while working under the hood.....
some interesting observations:
-flip handle next to driver to line-lock rear brake pressure, to save the weight of emergency brake?
-front bumpers (and fenders) faired into tilt front end, and the tilt-front hinge brackets
-never seen that airdam, although it is on 1-2 of the others in the other Japanese pics
-Mulholland decal on fender (alternate spring source?)
-quad motorcycle carbs, like Tom Prather (nismou20), and it looks like they are running a fuel rail and then the pressure gauge/valve is on the return line (isn't Tom running without a return?)

Very interesting in that this guy must have been having the same issues I'm going thru now with mine. I'm now waiting on a low pressure electric fuel pump and will try the bypass regulator route and see how it works out.
That is a cool car. It looks like it has a non roadster transmission based on the shifter. The flip up front end is pretty sweet. It would make working on everything so much easier.
Thanks for posting,
Will

I like it alot. Flares are a bit modern, but the tilt nose is the best feature. Biggest thing I love about Spitfires.
I could see that being a very sellable part if someone could produce it, or a kit to do it with the steel parts, hinge it like a Saab 900 hood so the fenders come forward and then flip.
The upper control arms are huge, wonder what the lowers look like
Funny, either it's apart for repairs, or that distributor is not being used, plug wires go off to the side.

The plug wires appear to go to coil packs on the inner fender. If you look at the distributor cap that is barely visible, it appears to be a 6 cylinder cap.

Tom,
If that does not work for you. I was thinking you could try a large volume fuel rail (gravity feed tank) with a return. Maybe a 1.5 inch tubing (volume ~ 1 oz per inch) with four outlets, 1 return, and one or two inlets.
