Firewall Grommets and Plugs

Hey, gang,

Now that my swap is a driver, I'm getting into some fiddly bits. The swap left a number of open holes in my firewall that are now empty (no chokes!) and a few other holes that now have more in them than they did before (lots of EFI wiring). I would like to dress these holes properly.

Does anyone know of a good source for firewall grommets and rubber plugs where you can buy by dimension, in small quantities?

Thanks,

Jesse.

McMaster Carr has a large selection. They have a very good online catalog. Lot sizes are kinda large, but you can get medium sized grommets in a 25 count for under $15. Check all options because a grommet just 1/32 different in a dimension may have a way different count and price.

Dean has a package that includes all of the grommets inthe right sizes. The main issue with trying to find them on your own is you need to buy 25 in a bag for the 1 or 2 that you need. You end up buying 150 grommets....

I have had some good success in the "PVC valve" section in Pep Boyz. The PVC (blowby filter) hardware on american iron needs a rubber grommet to seal to the air cleaner, and the sizes are similar / close enough to fit.
Pat's rubber plugs would probably be a much better (longer lasting) solution.
