I read the U20 camshaft the exact same specs as a 510 SSS camshaft.

A - 256 duration, .44 valve lift
B - 280 duration, .46 valve lift

I guess that would be A-Cam as the likely candidate since the most common SSS cam is a .41" lift and 248 duration.

That is good news for me b/c I now have an outlet to sell my old A-cam.

you mean sell an a cam to someone with an L-series? They don't interchange. Different number of cam towers. different lenth and spacing. Lift and duration only tell you about the cam lobes, if you look you'll find small block chevy or ford cams that have the same or similar lift and duration numbers - not interchangable though.

Most likely it was a cam reground to U20 specs.....

He probably meant to put L20B camshaft, they do have same specs as an SSS cam and there is a casting on the cam itself that says U20, but definetly for L series motors.
