This is a neat piece of Japanese Automotive Nostalgia.

The FJ20 engine was fitted to domestic Silvias only I believe.

There's a beautiful, low mileage example for sale in NZ at the moment at what seems to me to be a reasonable price.

My son has a 1983 DR30 Skyline

It is referred to as the "Iron Mask" body style, drop down hood panel and letter box air intake.
He has fitted a Haltech E6 ECU to the car now and has some huge Watanabe rims on it.
I don't get to drive it much but it is a real hoot when it is on BOOST

I'll try and get some more recent pics. for you

That's the one...I only have the motor.......or actually 5 of them....
Too bad we don't get that model.

Oz didn't get the DR30 either, they are all ex Japan as permitted imports.
The MR30 Skyline that was released here was an asthmatic L24 with fuel injection.
That was NUTHIN' to write home about

The S12 Silvia had both the CA18ET and FJ20 engines in Europe. Here's a norwegian FJ20 powered S12 currently in storage:
