NC 276 through the Pisgah Forest in Brevard, NC is a nice drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Didn't go there today, but did stop in Brevard, NC at Dugan's Pub for lunch with a friend and took a couple of pics!!

Tail of the Dragon 318 Curves in 11 miles.

"Crossing Deals Gap at the Tennessee/North Carolina state line, the Dragon is considered by many as one of the world's best motorcycling and sports car roads. Anyone looking for an exciting highway will enjoy this stretch of US129"

Such a challenge to drive.... The website publishes a fatality listing and a map that points out every death since 2000. Anyone with any livable experience driving this stretch? Please respond. I'm contemplating a Roadster trip there in the spring.

Sweet - I'm checking out my New Health Care benefits just in case...
Check out the videos of that stretch of road posted on YouTube. It appears to be quite a legend

From what I heard the biggest hazard is someone on a crotch rocket landing on the hood or suddenly catching up to a slow moving car.
