Yes it's true, I am proud to say as of today I now also own a 1966 1600! VIN# SPL31103071. I want to thank SLORoadster for taking time out of his busy schedule to help me comb over the car prior to purchase. I will be playing with it all day Sunday I'm sure. You guys are right these cars are addicting. This is going to be the new project car as it has a load more potential than my first one.

Way to go SLO! Are you going to restore both after concentrating on #2 or use #1 for parts? Have you picked a name, yet? I felt a bit guilty as I worked on the car for a few hours on Valentines Day, but bringing home a new project?! Is this one a gift for the special lady (not the car) in your life?

Hey TR,
It does look like I might be using the '67 for parting out. The body is still in great shape so I'm thinking of trailering it (and parts) down to Solvang to sell. This '66 has a lot of potential and makes
up for the loss on my first purchase for sure! I don't know if it will be ready for Solvang but, I might pull it off.
