New Roadster Owner SRL311-00031

Hi folks. I will soon take possession of a 1967 SRL311 serial number 31 (I think, might be 33). This car belongs to my father in law who either bought it new or was the second owner while the car was fairly new. He had it modified somewhat with the Solex kit and Venoli 11:1 piston and a 4:88 gearset. While he was driving it, he used it for daily driving and some autocrossing. It's been parked for about 15 years, but was running when it was put away. I called today to arrange shipping from Ridgecrest CA to my place in Cheyenne Wyoming. This is pretty exciting and should be a fun project. I sold my last project car ( a 64 Ford Fairlane 4 door) in order to fund transport of this one as well as pay for a few things to get me started toward putting it back on the road. The roadster should be a lot more fun to drive than the Fairlane! I will probably be checking in frequently with questions as I get started on this project.
