Hello everyone,
I just purchased a 1967.5 1600 that was in process of restoration yesterday. I loaded all of the parts in boxes into my garage and now I need some help identifying them! I was hoping that somebody would know of a website that could help me in this process. Also, what books do you recommend that I purchase?
The car is rust free and the bodywork should be finished in a few weeks so that I can trailer it home. I am really excited to start working on it, but I am a complete newbie....

Welcome and ask away-plenty of folks here will be able to help you figure out what you have and what you might be missing.
There are several really good books out there. Scott Sheeler put together a two part manual that is a must have for any sports owner. Here is the link http://thedatsunroadsterbook.com/
Also Phil Brooks an Aussie wrote a book called "Fairlady"-It is available from Ralleye Enterprises LTD. Here is the link for that one. http://www.datsunroadster.com/
Enjoy!!

Also Steve is too modest to recommend this site, but I will!
So read, read, read this site (and all of its nooks and crannies) and you will find 99% of what you need.
Really.

Post some pics soon. Welcome to the best datsun site there is.
A few months ago I didn't even know what a FairLady was. This site has helped me 100%.
