Hey Southern California Roadster Owners, September 27th SoCalROC is doing a Fun Run to the Races. We are going to the Coronado Speed Festival to support our own SoCalROC member Ron Carter as he races his Datsun Roadster at this Festival. The Fun Run will meet at the Irvine Spectrum and go from there. This will be a full fun day at this Speed Festival and you will have a great opportunity to see Ron in action. Lets have a great turn out for this Run and let Ron know that SoCalROC is behind him. Let us know if you are planning to join us on this Run, so far we have four cars going.

Hey guys hope we can get a good group to represent the Datsun contingency at the races! I will have more details as we draw closer to the event.

We are preping the car now and are excited to be invited back to Coronado!

I will be sure to have plenty of drinks and a few munchies on hand, come by and bench race, and have some fun!

John Morton is usually driving at this event as well...hope to see you there!

I think the count is up to 5 Roadsters.

We now are at 6 Roadster going on this run. We have 8 passes for parking in the Meguiar's Car Club Corral. I might be able to get more if needed.

Remember, even if you have parking passes to the Car Corral you can not enter the Corral with out having tickets for the event. You must get your tickets in advance. To get your tickets click this link and you can print them out once purchased.

September 27 – SoCalROC Fun Run to the Races
SocalRoc members will leave the Irvine Spectrum at 7:30am and Cruise to the Coronado Speed Festival. If you are going please email: socalroc@gmail.com.


This is where we will meet and leave from:

405 South exit Irvine Center Drive then go left.

Go to Pacifica and go right (big parking structure on right coroner)

Go right on Fortune Drive, pass the parking structure and enter the open parking lot on the right.

We will leave from there around 7:30am

and if you are in the mood to be up early, just around the corner from your meeting place is the Saturday morning Cars n' Coffee Car Show in Irvine, at the Ford PAG Design Center.

Off 405 south at same exit, go one-two more blocks to Gateway, turn right and then left into sign posted parking lot.

From 5 south take Alton Pkway, stay right exiting to Enterprise, left at Alton Pkway, right at Gateway.

Some great cars to be seen, ours included!
