Solvang to implement fees for Roadster Show

Sounds to me like it is decision time. If you are tied to Solvang for whatever reason, then find paying sponsors to help with the fees. Japanese beer companies come to mind. Otherwise, find another venue. A smaller out of the way town may like the tourism boost that the event brings. You could even do a rallye with the cars going through town.

If the organizer finds that excessive fees may be charged for the show and lets us know, we could email the city manager and chamber of commerce and let them know what they stand to lose, income wise, by us not holding our show there. As Dennis states, I know my wife drops a fair amount over the couple of days there along with staying and eating at local establishments.
